Formula E Creators Challenge

A black Formula E car under the title Creators Challenge 2026, Bionic Awards, presented by Google Cloud

Up to 60 seconds, made with Google AI models and the GEN4 asset kit. Premiere listed at BFI IMAX, 22 Oct 2026. The challenge has now closed and the organiser's page lists the winners.

What changed

This one's finished. Entries for GEN4 and Formula E's Creators Challenge closed at 23:59 BST on 30 September 2026, finalists were named in early October and shortlisted films were due to screen at the BFI IMAX in London on 22 October. The organiser's page now points to the winners.

Who it's for

It took entries from solo makers and teams, from agencies and studios, and ran a separate Flow Innovator Award for a pipeline built end to end in Google Flow. Signing up was free and got you the GEN4 Asset Kit to work from.

What it means for a cut

If you're eyeing it for next time, the brief was tight: no more than 60 seconds, at least 4 seconds of the asset kit on screen, and every frame of video made with Google's models. Stills and audio could come from anything. Entries went through FilmFreeway, and each of the three winners takes a guest to a 2026/27 Formula E race as a VIP, with $4,000 of travel covered.
